His Point of View

“Women depreciate and men appreciate”

That was a statement made today during a discussion on the finer points of dating. I took the statement to mean that women typically are attracted more by a man’s level of success and ability to provide for a woman/family. While men are typically attracted to a woman’s physical appearance. Therefore young women have more good looks to offer, and as they age their looks diminish…while younger men have less ability to provide for a woman, but as we age we (should) have more to offer a woman therefore older men are more attractive to women.

This statement seems to hold a lot of weight for several reasons. Perhaps this contributes to the frustration some older single ladies have…Perhaps this contributes to the high number of young ladies dating older men…Perhaps this is why women begin to lower their standards as they age (although in many cases lowering standards is what should have been done long ago if the woman’s expectations are not in line with what she has to offer a potential mate)…Perhaps you have something to say about this statement… Please feel free to comment below.

It has come to my attention that some women are making a conscious effort to avoid doing any thing that might be considered ‘woman’s work’…by this I mean cooking, cleaning, doing laundry, etc.  I have even been told by some women that their refusal to do housework is the result of their mother’s teachings.  Apparently some mothers have taught their daughters that they do not have to do housework…. or at least that’s what these young ladies interpreted their mother’s message to mean.  Although I understand the intent of a mother teaching a daughter that there is no such thing as ‘woman’s work’ I do not think that lesson was meant to teach young ladies to be filthy creatures.

Why am I discussing this issue?  Do I want women to be barefoot and pregnant?  Do I expect women to cook and clean for me while I lay around and drink beer and watch football? If you asked me any of those questions I would say (continue reading…)

So I came across this site (http://www.whizbiz.com.au/) which is a site where women can purchase products which allow them to urinate standing up, as men do.  I must ask… Is it really that serious???  I see that this company promotes this product as being hygienic and providing more freedom… but does it really offer those things if you have to carry this device around in your purse, especially after it has been used???

Ladies, are you going to run out and get one of these?

Stop being stupid people…This week I have read of 3 cases of murder all because of a dude flipping out over a woman. In ATL a guy allegedly murdered two women that he had previously attempted to date, and both women ended up cutting him off, so the story goes. And the third case involves the young rapper Dolla. Now the facts are blurry but allegedly the murder suspect says the altercation started when he bumped into a woman associated with Dolla 2 weeks prior to the murder he committed in “self defense”. Well we may never know the truth since Dolla is no longer able to tell his side of the story.

Both of the situations mentioned above are senseless and plain stupid. There is no reason for violence unless you are protecting your own or another life. There is never a reason for violence as a result of emotional distress or damage to your ego. If you find yourself in constant conflicts over your woman either your are an overprotective meathead (and you need to seek help and work on your trust issues) or she is not the lady you think she is. A real woman knows how to handle most issues before they escalate and a realer (more real) woman knows how to avoid putting herself in situations that are likely to cause conflicts. So I say to that “check yo self befo you wreck yo self” fool…

Your decisions either create happiness or destroy it. Abuse,murder, and jail all destroy happiness for yourself, the victim’s family and the people who love you.

It’s 2009 people we need to create happiness for ourselves and those around us.
